Commercial Property EV Charging Station with Restricted Access
A commercial property owner required a dual vehicle charger with access to be restricted to authorized tenants. The KNA team installed a Schneider EV230PDR dual 30 AMP charger with SAE J1772 connector that has a built-in reader which works with the building’s existing access control FOBS.
The charger was installed in a cement base and connected to two new 40 AMP circuit breakers installed in the existing breaker panel. After the installation was completed, the system was thoroughly tested for proper operation.
